MIDTERM PAPER OBJECTIVE: Visit a health care facility (hospital, community health center) organization or program, as a volunteer or participant. Review and critique the organization and program. Describe your experience while also answering some of the following questions. Describe your experience: For this project, I attended a facility in Ronkonkoma called Connetquot Chiropractic, P.C. It was a facility that specialized in physical therapy and chiropractic care. I found my experience to be very satisfying. It was a great environment to be in; everyone who worked there was very inviting, nice, and friendly. The atmosphere of the facility made the patients have a great attitude. Overall, it was fantastic and I learned a few things. Were the organization’s mission, vision and goals clear? In my opinion, the mission, vision, and goals were made clear. As soon as you walked in, you could tell that the people who were there wanted to be there. They informed me right away that they promote an environment that makes the patients feel cared for and relaxed. Everyone had a lot of energy and was very warm with the patients. Their mission and vision is to restore functionality in patients who experience back pain or any type of pain related to bone alignment. Their goals were to accomplish their mission with the patient individually and to give the patients a better understanding about their bodies and what measures they can take to restoring it.
